PROTOTYPING
MEEP is a mental health and productivity service that keeps users on track with break times, games, check-ins, and help during working sessions. This idea was born from a quarter where my group mates and I felt extremely burnt out — and we believed that our best work came after we took time to refresh and rejuvenate. MEEP’s eclectic visual language was born from the group’s doodles, and we intended for this imperfect, humorous, vivid style to serve as a fun and creative moment during a user’s busy work day.

STAY ON TRACK
Use MEEP to set timers and create to-do lists to manage your workload. At the end of a working session, users are able to play a game during their break, or continue working if they are in the zone.

CHECK IN ON YOURSELF
Every day, MEEP will send a fun, unique check-in to gauge how the user feels, from great to burnt-out. Users are able to respond to this check in through a gestural response that results in an evocative character animation.

PLAY A GAME (OR TWO)
During breaks, MEEP encourages humorous games that allow users to unleash some quick creativity. Shown here is a game in which users can quickly create a kooky character and use augmented reality to place them within the user’s environment.
